Our Mission & Vision for a Home

Before you serve on a team, we want you to know what you're serving for.

Stouffville is growing fast. Fifty thousand people call this city home — families who work hard, commute long, and carry more than it looks like from the outside. They're capable, educated, and ready to discover both a relationship with Jesus and what scripture describes as 'Life and Life to the Fullest".

Our mission is clear:

to make disciples of Jesus Christ

And our vision is to accomplish that for our community is in building...

a home for everyone to grow in faith, community, and purpose.

Not just a house — a home. A place you belong, are loved, and are valued. That's what we're building together.

Every person on this team is part of building that home. What you do on a Sunday morning, in a group, on a team, or in the community — it all connects to this. You're not filling a volunteer slot. You're helping build something that matters eternally.

Our Culture of a Home

Meaningful relationships don't happen by accident. They're the product of a shared culture — a way of treating each other that becomes second nature over time.

We have four heart values. Together they spell HOME — because everything we do is in pursuit of creating a true home for everyone who walks through our doors. These aren't performance standards. They're the posture we want to carry into every conversation, every ministry moment, and every interaction with the people God has placed in our lives.

H

Honour

Comes First

We choose to honour one another and honour the Lord — joyfully setting aside our own preferences so that the mission of Jesus always comes first.

O

Open To Interruptions

We value excellence and preparation — but we hold them with open hands, staying responsive to what the Holy Spirit is doing even when it changes our plans.

M

Make Room

For More

God is building His church, and we live with the expectation that He will keep drawing people to Himself. Our job is to stay flexible and ready — always making room.

E

Excited For

Our Future

The Church carries the greatest reason for hope. We face challenges with faith — not anxiety — because we genuinely believe God's best is still ahead.

Our Strategy for Change

Our Core Strategy for Ministry is Simple:

We believe that through clear pathways and meaningful relationships, we lead people from curiosity to clarity and confidence in Jesus.

No matter what team you serve on, you are part of a journey that someone else is on. Your role isn't just a task — it's serving others as they are navigating the process of change, transformation and relationship with Jesus.

Here's how we think about that journey:

Faith Begins

with Curiosity

This is the stage where someone starts to wonder if faith could be for them.

Our job is to create the kind of environment where that question feels safe to ask.

Relationship Begins

with Clarity

This is the moment wondering becomes deciding.

People begin to understand who Jesus is and what it means to say yes to Him.

Discipleship Grows

Through Confidence

This is the stage where deciding turns to discipleship

Growing, serving, and moving forward because following Jesus has become the defining reality of their life.

Our Wins

A clear strategy deserves a clear scoreboard. These four wins exist so that every person on this team — regardless of where they serve — is measuring success the same way.

The methodology looks different across our pathways. The wins do not. Whether you're greeting someone at the door on a Sunday morning, leading a small group, serving on a team, or representing Jesus at a community event — you are working toward the same four outcomes. These wins are our shared language.

we are winning when...
