WE DON'T RISE TO OUR GOALS,
WE FALL TO OUR SYSTEMS

JAMES CLEAR

DAILY ANCHOR

A HOME THAT READS SCRIPTURE

THE PRINCIPLE

Developing a love for Scripture is essential because God’s Word is our source of truth, wisdom, and spiritual growth (2 Tim. 3:16–17). The Bible reveals God’s heart, renews our minds (Rom. 12:2), and equips us to live faithfully. When we delight in His Word and meditate on it daily (Ps. 1:2), it transforms us and draws us closer to Him.

DAILY EXPRESSION

A HOME THAT PRAYS WITH & FOR EACH OTHER

THE PRINCIPLE

Building an active prayer life is a biblical priority because prayer is how believers abide in Christ and align with God’s will (John 15:7), grow in intimacy with Him (Phil. 4:6–7), and experience His power and guidance (James 5:16). Scripture calls us to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17), showing that prayer is meant to be a constant, life-shaping relationship with God rather than an occasional ritual. A vibrant prayer life fuels faith, strengthens obedience, and deepens dependence on God in every season.

THE PRACTICAL

don't do it alone

The best way to keep prayer at the forefront of your mind is to know that there are others praying along side you. We have a team of people who have committed to praying along side any requests that come in.

buy a prayer journal

If the words aren't quite flowing as naturally as you'd hoped, start with a prayer journal. Begin with simply writing a letter as if God would be receiving and reading it himself. This exercise helps to focus on what we want to say, and not get hung up on how we ought to say it.

set an appointment with God

We schedule and make appointments all day long to make sure we are making time for the things that matter most. In the business of life, set aside time and a reminder on your phone throughout the day to pause and take a few moments to pray.

celebrate the wins

Every new routine and practice in our life requires reinforcement. Keep track of when and how God has answered prayer and remind yourself often. In the moments where

discouragement can settle in, read through the testimony of what God has already done!

WEEKLY ANCHOR

A HOME THAT
BELONGS TO A CHURCH

THE PRINCIPLE

Belonging to a local church is a biblical principle because God designed believers to function as members of one body (1 Cor. 12:12–27), to grow under the care of spiritual leaders (Heb. 13:17), and to encourage one another through regular gatherings (Heb. 10:24–25). The local church is where discipleship, worship, and mission are lived out in community (Eph. 4:11–16; Acts 13:1–3). Commitment to a local body is essential for spiritual growth, accountability, and fulfilling God’s mission together.

THE PRACTICAL

a home for everyone

to grow in faith, community & purpose.

WEEKLY EXPRESSION

A HOME THAT SERVES OTHERS

THE PRINCIPLE

Discovering the joy of serving others reflects Christ’s example, who came “not to be served but to serve” (Mark 10:45). Scripture teaches that serving is a pathway to true greatness and joy, as we use our God-given gifts to build up the body of Christ (1 Pet. 4:10). When we humbly serve others, we participate in God’s work, grow in love, and experience the blessing of giving ourselves away (Acts 20:35).

THE PRACTICAL

see a need, fill a need
